We are currently looking for reliable and professional GDC-registered Dental Nurses to join our growing agency team, covering Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Malvern, Evesham, Pershore, Worcester, Hereford and nearby areas.
This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working in different practice environments, meeting new teams, and delivering excellent patient care while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.
As an Agency Dental Nurse, you will support dental teams in busy practices, helping ensure smooth clinical workflows while providing outstanding care and reassurance to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
- Deliver high standards of patient care, ensuring comfort and reassurance throughout treatment
- Follow strict infection prevention and cross-infection control procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems
- Offer clear pre- and post-treatment advice to patients when required
- Support practice teams with general clinical and administrative duties
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment
- Communicate professionally with patients, dentists, and practice staff
Requirements
- GDC Registered Dental Nurse (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ dental nursing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of infection control and clinical compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different practice settings
- Good IT skills and familiarity with dental practice software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
