About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, confident and highly skilled Room Leader for our Under Twos. You will lead a dedicated team to provide exceptional care, comfort and early learning experiences for our youngest children, ensuring they feel secure, valued and supported as they explore their world.
This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of infant development, attachment, routines and responsive caregiving.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong experience working with babies and toddlers, including leading or mentoring staff.
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and safer practice.
- Confident understanding of the EYFS, particularly the unique needs of the under‑twos.
- Ability to create a calm, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead your team to deliver exceptional physical, emotional and developmental care for babies and toddlers.
- Model responsive, respectful caregiving and support staff to embed high‑quality practice.
- Maintain consistent routines that promote security, wellbeing and early learning.
- Build warm, trusting relationships with families, ensuring excellent communication and partnership.
- Uphold and promote the aims, values and expectations of South Hills School Nurseries.

Pay: £25,740.00-£27,456.00 per year
