Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Home Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Develop and follow personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, preferences, and health requirements
- Maintain clear communication with residents, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure consistent and effective care delivery
- Document all care activities accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Foster a positive environment by engaging residents in social activities, conversations, and recreational pursuits
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and team members
- Excellent communication skills combined with empathy, patience, and a caring attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as required

Pay: From £12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
