To support the Finance team in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and insightful analysis through supporting the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Transactional & Control Foundations
- Assist with sales and purchase ledger processes
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Support departmental cost analysis
- Month-End Support
- Prepare accruals and prepayments schedules
- Support balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Assist with analysis of gross margin and overheads
- Support with yearend deliverables for statutory reporting
- Systems & Process Improvement
- Support finance system development
- Improve reporting automation
- Document and strengthen internal controls

Working Week: 35hrs, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1 hour lunchbreak)
Salary: £14,560 per annum (in line with Apprenticeship National Minimum wage)
Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 will be required to apply for this apprenticeship.
Future Prospects: There is an opportunity for a fulltime position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

What you need to know
- This is a 16-month apprenticeship including end point assessment.
- This role is 4 days in the office and 1 day attendance at Crawley College
- Applicants MUST BE resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years prior to the start of learning and have work authorisation for the UK.
- Applicants WILL NOT BE eligible to apply if they have already achieved a qualification which is equal to or higher thank the apprenticeship standard on offer.
- Applicants MUST BE resident in the area local to the apprenticeship opportunity or be prepared to relocate in time to start employment and study.
- Applicants MUST BE committed to the learning and stay to the end of the apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £8.00 per hour (As of the 1st April 2026). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16- to 18-year-old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their ages applies.
Pay: £14,560.00 per year
