The above full time permanent position has become available within our growing Hygiene Company located at our head office based in Walsall. We are a family orientated company and are looking to add to our existing team.
Hours : Monday to Friday, varying between 5am-5pm, approx. Minimum of 40 hours per week. Please note; you must be flexible as hours will vary day to day, the hours worked are during the stated hours and not from 5am-5pm usually between 8-10 hours per day including travel.
Job Description & Duties:
Duties will include driving around to clients premises in and around the Greater Midlands and surrounding areas. Servicing of washroom facilities which includes ladies sanitary units, air freshener units, hand towel dispensers and soap dispensers etc. Servicing of water cooler units, dust mats, some deliveries of hygiene products and collection of some clinical waste. Our clients vary from nursing homes, doctor’s surgeries, schools, colleges, nurseries, restaurants, hotels and football stadiums.
Requirements:
Full clean driving licence (Max 3 points will be acceptable)
Physically fit and strong as involves some heavy lifting, bending and carrying plus many customers may have flights of stairs
Pleasant and friendly manner
Confident driver
Customer focused
Reliable, adaptable and flexible to work fluctuating hours
Confident with use of Tablet / Ipad
Previous experience not essential but advantageous.
If you are not currently ADR qualified you must be willing to undertake ADR training which will be fully funded by the company.
Would suit persons that have worked within the care industry or delivery drivers.
Please be mindful that this role may involve collecting bags of clinical waste, such as sanitary waste, nappies, swabs and dressings.
Due to the nature of our clients, the successful applicant will be willing to have an enhanced DBS check which is paid for by the company.
