About the role
Join our growing team in Moray and work on varied forestry projects across North Scotland, including commercial and estate forestry, woodland creation, timber harvesting and ecological restoration.
Key responsibilities
Prepare forest and woodland management plans and support woodland creation projects.
Manage forestry grant applications, woodland surveys, inventories and GIS mapping.
Support timber harvesting, sales, operational forestry and contractor management.
Carry out site inspections and contribute to ecological restoration projects.
Meet clients and stakeholders, supporting constructive consultation and project delivery.
Develop existing client relationships and help identify new opportunities.
What you'll bring
You will have practical experience in forestry, woodland management, forestry consultancy or a related field. You do not need experience in every area; training and support will be provided where required.
A practical, hands-on approach and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Clear communication with clients, contractors and colleagues.
Strong organisation, personal responsibility and the ability to work well in a team.
Comfort working both outdoors and in an office environment.
A willingness to learn, contribute ideas and take on greater responsibility over time.
A full UK driving licence.
Desirable experience: forest planning, woodland creation, grant applications, timber harvesting, GIS or operational forestry.

Pay: £30,723.95-£60,000.00 per year
