Duties
- Assess vehicle damage accurately and develop effective repair plans
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove dents, replace panels, and straighten frames
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move vehicle parts or damaged components
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and applying primers
- Refinish repaired areas with paint, polish, and finishing techniques to match original vehicle appearance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored and maintained
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures and repair processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and wrenches
- Experience with power tools including sanders, grinders, and spray guns
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during various repair tasks
- Prior experience in car body repair or collision repair preferred but not mandatory; training provided for motivated candidates
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
