Bar & Event Manager job description
We have a fantastic job available for an experienced bar manager who would like to develop their career further. Fletchers is an independent venue hosting live music, corporate and community events, weddings and private parties.
We are looking for a hands-on Manager who would love to develop this great venue further. You will be a hospitality professional with expertise in bar & cellar management. You have a good knowledge of food and drink and experience in managing staff. You know how to reach out to your customers (a marketing qualification would be an advantage). We offer full training in event management and you will help ensure the venue is used to capacity . You also understand that cleaning is an important part of the job and love ensuring people have a great time!
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the operations of our food and drink service ensuring a professional delivery at all times
Help us develop daytime and evening events to maximise income
Provide hands-on leadership
Develop effective promotional strategies
Qualifications:
Proven experience of Bar and Cellar management
Proficiency in IT skills, including troubleshooting and familiarity with relevant software applications.
An understanding of Marketing tools and how to run an effective promotional campaign
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
