Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to kitchen staff
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed in handling and serving food and beverages
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times
- Assist in setting up the bar or dining area before service and breaking down after closing shifts
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and process payments securely
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items to answer guest questions confidently and make recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service (serving) standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or similar roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position

Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
