We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and compassionate Nursery Practitioner to join our growing team working 30 hours a week.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key part in supporting children’s learning, development and daily care. You will work closely with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high‑quality care and engaging learning experiences for children aged 0–5
- Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development
- Planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities linked to the EYFS
- Maintaining accurate observations and contributing to learning journals
- Ensuring the environment is safe, clean and well‑organised
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Following all safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about early years and committed to children’s wellbeing
- Warm, patient and able to build strong, trusting relationships
- Confident in supporting children’s learning through play
- A team player with good communication skills
- Organised, proactive and able to use initiative
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or working towards) essential
- Experience in a nursery or early‑years setting
- A clear understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities
