Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Office Administrator to join the team in our Chorley office.
We are a closely knit team of around 40 people spread across two offices. We are looking for some one who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in their work and someone who is more than happy to get involved in all situations.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your approach and attention to detail will help foster a productive work environment, support team members, and keep all administrative processes on track.
The role available can be either full time or part-time, Convene is happy to work around you.

- Taking customer orders, invoicing & Sourcing/ordering equipment
- Supporting with company records, documents and general administration
- Assisting with invoices, expenses and other basic finance administration
- Helping to organise meetings, events and team activities

Experience
You don’t necessarily need years of experience in an IT environment. What matters most to us is your attitude, organisation and willingness to get stuck in.
You will be someone who:
- Proven office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- Isn’t afraid to ask questions or suggest a better way of doing something
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and everyday business software
- Prior administrative experience
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Why join us?
We’re big enough to have a successful, established business behind us, but small enough that you’ll know everyone’s name and your contribution will genuinely matter.
You’ll be joining a friendly team where people look out for each other, ideas are welcomed and there’s plenty of opportunity to learn.
We’re also an IT company, so you’ll be working in a modern, technology-focused environment with people who know their stuff — although you definitely don’t need to be an IT expert yourself!
Most importantly, we want this to be a place where people enjoy coming to work.
