We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support early childhood development in line with educational frameworks
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children’s curiosity and confidence
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and wellbeing
- Lead and support team members in daily routines, ensuring high standards of childcare are maintained
- Maintain accurate records of children’s development, attendance, and health information
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and hygiene protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 2, 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred
- Ability to work flexibly within the hours required by the childcare setting
