As a Financial Assessment Assessor, you'll assess the financial circumstances of people receiving Adult Social Care to determine their financial contribution towards their assessed care costs. You'll provide clear advice and guidance to residents, their families and representatives while working alongside social workers and partner organisations. You'll analyse financial information from a variety of sources, carry out financial assessments in line with legislation and Council policy, and support people through what can often be a complex process with empathy, professionalism and accuracy.
We are looking for candidates who:
- RQF Level 2 in Maths and English or able to pass competency assessment as part of the selection process
- Can accurately analyse financial information and numerical data
- Communicate confidently with a wide range of people
- Can prioritise workloads and work accurately under pressure
Have computer skills including experience of Microsoft Office 365
