We have a brilliant opportunity for a part time sales adviser to join our growing team at Market Cross Jewellers in Morpeth. This role is for 16 hours per week, which will be spread over our working week which is currently Monday to Saturday. These hours could be worked either as a full or part day over the working week, depending on the business needs.
It is essential that applicants have prior retail experience in a similar role.
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, to reach individual as well as team targets and must be adaptable to change. Strong customer service and communication skills are vital for this role.
As a brand ambassador for Market Cross Jewellers, the successful candidate will be well presented and have a customer focused, can do attitude. The position will include, but not be limited to the following duties and responsibilities:
- Providing a warm and welcoming customer experience from start to finish
- Delivering outstanding customer service at all times to customers
- Assisting customers with the selection of products and determining their needs accordingly
- Meeting individual and store targets
- Showing engagement, taking pride in your work at all times and actively seeking opportunities for improvement and taking responsibility for your own development
- Merchandising and replenishing stock as required, whilst maintaining high shop floor standards
- Performing till duties, processing card, cash and IFC transactions professionally and accurately
We are a small team so we are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible in their approach to days/hours worked, highly responsible and vigilant with regards to personal and store security.
