The primary responsibility of the Lifeguard is to ensure students’ safety in and around the swimming pool. Key duties include supervising swimmers, spotting potential hazards, responding promptly to emergencies, and performing CPR or other lifesaving first aid when required.
In addition to pool duties, you are part of the Course Assistant team and contribute to the delivery of free-time, evening, and weekend activities, helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging summer school experience. You may be allocated to a specific department, such as Sports, Language or Operations, giving you the chance to build specialised skills while supporting the wider programme.

You'll build confidence managing safety, emergencies, and student wellbeing, with opportunities to take initiative and responsibility.
