Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions using Sage Line 50 and Excel.
- Manage accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and ensuring timely vendor payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries to support management decision-making.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by organizing relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping procedures and implement best practices for financial recordkeeping.
Qualifications
- Proven experience using accounting software Sage
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles is preferred but not required.
