We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our busy Italian restaurant in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the front-of-house team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
- Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training, and performance.
- Control labour costs, stock levels, and ordering.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth and efficient service.
- Drive sales and maintain high operational standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy, high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing costs and achieving targets.
- A passion for hospitality and Italian food.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
