We are looking for an experienced Café Chef / Breakfast Chef to join our team. The role focuses on preparing a simple English breakfast menu in a busy but manageable café environment.
Accommodation PROVIDED
We serve approximately 25–30 covers on weekdays and 50–60 covers on weekends, so the ideal candidate must be confident working efficiently during peak breakfast hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook classic English breakfasts and simple café dishes
- Operate and manage a flat grill safely and efficiently
- Ensure food is prepared to a high standard and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
- Follow food hygiene, health & safety regulations
- Assist with stock control and basic prep as required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a chef or breakfast cook in a café
- Confident using a flat grill
- Strong knowledge of English breakfast cooking
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy service
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Weekend availability required
