Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fryer/Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and cooking food items, particularly fried dishes, while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong attention to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties
- Prepare and cook food items, specialising in fried dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist with meal preparation, including assembling ingredients and following recipes accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve customers courteously, taking orders and delivering food promptly
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during food handling and preparation
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during busy periods
- Assist in cleaning dining areas and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods, particularly frying, is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices within a hospitality environment
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting is desirable
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and hospitality industry best practices
