Job duties
· Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions, prepare interim balances, and reconcile them against the relevant accounts.
· Coordinate with the payroll technician to ensure PAYE information is recorded accurately in the correct accounts.
· Support the senior accountant with payroll processing, bookkeeping, financial statements, tax filings and reports, as well as any HMRC audits or investigations.
· Respond to client queries and assist with feedback in coordination with the senior accountant.
· Set up new client accounts and ensure all onboarding documentation is complete.
· Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with existing customers to support credit control.
· Perform general administrative and bookkeeping duties as required.
· Support the senior accountant with explanation and bookkeeping of business records provided by clients with cross-border background, particularly from Asian region
Job Requirements
1, Chinese speaking, accounting qualifications is not requested, though would be a bonus if have any;
2, Aspires to become an accountant/tax advisor;
3, Great experience with VAT, Sage/QuickBooks/XERO software and cloud version, etc.;
4, Proactive character and high sense of responsibility, customer service and teamwork spirit.
