We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all Swimmers at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to compliance management, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently. As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe environment for swimmers of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and prevent accidents.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and patrons regarding safety procedures.
- Participate in regular training sessions to keep skills sharp and stay updated on best practices in lifeguarding.
- Document any incidents or accidents that occur within the facility.
Qualifications
- Current RLSS NPLQ certification is essential
- Enhanced DBS and Safeguarding Certificates, although we can help apply.
- Strong compliance management skills to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patrons and staff.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
