Mincrete Limited is a supplier of ready mixed concrete products and floor screeds, supplying to local industrial and domestic building companies, and are looking for a full-time experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join our company based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.
The Role
Working within a small team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Director in all aspects of an accounts role, including the production of accurate and timely financial information, while assisting with the day-to-day running of the finance/admin office.
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparation of monthly management accounts
· Responsible for monthly accruals, prepayments and journals
· Maintaining the fixed asset register and disposals
· Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
· Ensuring continuous improvement of the role function
· Assist in all areas of Sales and Purchase Ledger
· Assist in all areas of admin office
Essential Criteria:
· Previous experience of working in a similar role, carrying out month end management accounts
· Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
· Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy and varied workload
· Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Able to work as part of a small team

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
