Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Skilled Gardener to join our growing team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful & healthy gardens. To be successful in this role you will need to have good plant knowledge acquired through practical experience or formal training, practical skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure our clients gardens flourish. We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates that have a minimum of 1 years experience as a self-employed gardener or those that have worked in dedicated gardening roles (Pay is negotiable based on experience)
Duties
- Use hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes to perform planting, pruning, weeding, and soil preparation tasks with precision and care
- Operate power tools including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws safely and efficiently to maintain large landscaped areas
- Assist with planting new gardens, transplanting mature plants, and maintaining existing flora to promote healthy growth
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, mulching beds, and removing debris
- Apply horticultural knowledge to diagnose plant health issues and implement appropriate treatments or interventions and to advise clients of best care
- Collaborate with team members & clients on seasonal gardening tasks & to propose changes & improvements to meet the clients garden goals for their outdoor space
Experience
- Proven growing experience in gardening or horticulture roles with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape maintenance
- Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and gardening equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Knowledge of horticultural principles including soil health, pest management, pruning techniques, and plant selection
- A passion for gardening is essential
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques

Pay: £10,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
