We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Site Administrator to join our project team on a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction project.
Working for a Principal Contractor, you will provide essential administrative support to the site management team, ensuring workforce competency records, training compliance, material records and site documentation are maintained to the highest standard throughout the project lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile renewable energy project on a long-term 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain workforce competency records and training matrices.
- Monitor training and certification expiry dates, ensuring all personnel remain compliant.
- Review, record and manage training certificates, CSCS cards, CPCS cards and other competency documentation.
- Scan, log and electronically file Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
- Maintain accurate records of materials received on site.
- Produce and update project trackers and reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Create and manage documentation, correspondence and reports using Microsoft Word.
- Support site inductions and workforce onboarding activities.
- Maintain organised electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
- Assist the Site Manager, SHEQ team and project team with general administrative duties.
- Ensure site records are accurate, up to date and readily available for audits and inspections.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a Site Administrator, Project Administrator or Construction Administrator role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience managing workforce records, training records or competency matrices.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working for a Principal Contractor.
- Previous experience on energy, utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Knowledge of CSCS, CPCS, NPORS and other construction competence requirements.
- Experience with document control systems.
