Our services are based in Caithness, Easter Ross, Inverness, and Lochaber. Centred Recovery Centre, based in Inverness, is a centre that provides support and accommodation for up to 23 service users.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our dynamic and expanding Inverness team. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in administration and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Social Care Administrator, you will play an essential role in the daily functioning of the Inverness Support Service. Reporting directly to the Inverness Community Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing all administrative support required to ensure the smooth operation of the service. You’ll handle a variety of tasks and interact regularly with visiting professionals, tradespeople, visitors, and service users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing general administrative support.
- Minute taking for meetings.
- Collating and preparing reports.
- Using computer systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Maintaining records and paperwork in compliance with the Data Protection Act.
This role will suit an adaptable individual who thrives in a busy environment and is ready to take on varied administrative duties.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the following attributes:
Work Experience:
- Experience working within an administrative role (Essential).
- Experience working within social care/mental health (Desirable).
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Essential).
- Friendly manner (Essential).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Essential).
- Attention to detail, particularly in written/typed documents (Essential).
- Ability to adapt to the demands of a busy environment (Essential).
- Knowledge of desktop publishing (Desirable).
- Understanding of professional boundaries and GDPR (Desirable).
