Summary
As a Sous Chef at Sabatini Exeter, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations, assisting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes that reflect our dedication to authentic Italian cuisine. This position is essential for maintaining our standards of excellence and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Sabatini’s standards and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for Italian cuisine.
- Excellent leadership abilities to manage and motivate kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
