Duties
- Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent guest service
- Assist in coordinating food preparation and serving processes to maintain efficiency and quality standards
- Lead team management efforts by training, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve performance goals
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all service areas
- Manage reservations, guest inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction
- Support kitchen staff with food production tasks when necessary, including basic culinary preparation and plating
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by fostering teamwork, positive communication, and a professional environment
Requirements
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and hospitality standards
