About the Role
We are looking for experienced, energetic and outgoing Sales Assistants to join our toy retail team in London.
The role is based at our retail locations in Battersea and Westfield Stratford City.
This is a customer-facing sales position in a busy shopping centre environment. You will be actively approaching customers, introducing and demonstrating our toys, recommending products and helping to drive sales.
We are looking for someone who is confident, friendly, proactive and genuinely enjoys talking to people.
Working Hours
Full-Time
- 5 days per week
- Approx. 10 hours per day
Part-time (based on 0-hours contact)
- 1–4 days per week
- Approx. 10 hours per day
Weekend availability is preferred.
Requirements
- Previous retail or sales experience is required
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Outgoing, cheerful and confident personality
- Comfortable proactively approaching and engaging with customers
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales-driven and motivated to achieve targets
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work approximately 10-hour shifts
- Experience in toy, gift or shopping centre retail is an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively approach and engage with customers
- Introduce and demonstrate toys and products
- Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable products
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Work towards daily sales targets
- Handle customer enquiries and support sales transactions
- Keep the retail area clean, organised and visually appealing
- Assist with stock organisation and daily retail operations
