A vacancy exists within our busy service department for an enthusiastic and resourceful person who can work well with others and master many aspects of customer service activities. Duties include the following tasks:
- Meet and greet service customers and organise timely responses to their needs.
- Taking phonecalls.
- Assist in the logistics of technician callouts, collections, deliveries etc.
- Warranty submissions to manufacturers.
- Monitoring technical notifications and bulletins to workshop staff.
- Jobcard processing and invoice preparation.
This is a full time time position within a well established and professional dealership, offering good career prospects and the chance of future progression through the company. Powercut’s business is extensive and varied so consequently it’s interesting and full of challenges. After 40 years, we continue to be the sole dealership appointed and approved by John Deere to cover their turf machinery range in South West Wales. Beyond conventional machinery however, we further specialise in an array of lifestyle oriented products, ranging from robotics to saunas and Jacuzzi wellness spas.
The administration of the service department requires good communication with sales, parts and service persons. Previous knowledge of the workings of a service department is not essential, however background knowledge gained from within the areas of machinery, horticulture, agriculture, vehicles or even a hot-tub dealership will be an advantage. Military service leavers will have an advantage during application.
