Are you energetic, friendly, and great with people? We are looking for an enthusiastic Arcade Support Assistant & Bar Staff member to join our team at Strikes!
In this dual-role position, you will help keep our arcade floor running smoothly, make sure our redemption shelves look fantastic, and serve drinks behind our busy bar. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, a practical mindset, and a passion for customer service!
Key Responsibilities
Arcade Support:
- Restocking & Merchandising: Keep prize redemption shelves fully stocked, organized, and inviting, and keep machines loaded and ready for action.
- Basic Support: Handle simple, day-to-day tasks like clearing minor coin mech jams and unblocking ticket dispensers.
- Ticket Redemption: Assist guests at the counter, accurately handling ticket counting and helping customers claim their prizes.
- Floor Standards: Ensure the arcade area stays tidy, safe, and welcoming for all of our guests.
Bar Staff:
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Operating the till, handling cash and card transactions efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented bar area.
- Adhering strictly to all licensing laws and responsible drinking guidelines (must be 18+).
What We Are Looking For
- Aged 18 or over (essential due to bar and alcohol service responsibilities).
- A bright, outgoing personality with a real passion for customer service.
- A practical, hands-on approach who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
- A team player who can keep smiling during our busiest peak times.
Hourly Rate: National Minimum Wage Hours: Part-time (mostly weekends and school holidays, with extra cover shifts available throughout the week)
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
