Basic Salary: £54,000 Basic DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

We are seeking a skilled Assistant HGV Depot Manager to join our dynamic team and manage the smooth operation of our depot.
Assistant HGV Depot Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the HGV workshop, ensuring an efficient workflow and high standards of workmanship.
- Coordinate the scheduling of work for technicians, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to the highest quality.
- Liaise with customers to provide updates on vehicle repairs and maintenance, handling any queries or concerns.
- Monitor workshop performance, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards and company procedures.
- Manage parts inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary components for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and provide reports to management as required.
- Drive continuous improvement within the workshop, identifying and implementing process improvements.
Assistant HGV Depot Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Assistant HGV Depot Manager or in a similar role within the HGV or automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians.
- In-depth knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair processes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive and solution-focused attitude.
