About Us
We're a family-run soft play and café business looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista / Café Team Member to join our friendly team.
This is a varied customer-facing role combining barista duties and general café operations. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, preparing high-quality drinks, and helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks to a consistently high standard.
- Operate commercial espresso coffee machines and grinders confidently.
- Maintain coffee equipment and ensure workstations are clean and organised.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the café and customer areas.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Complete daily cleaning and hygiene checks.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide occasional support to the kitchen team during busy periods, including basic non-cooking tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous barista experience and confidence using a commercial espresso machine.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and school holidays
