Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee daily retail operations and lead our team to success. The Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing stock, and maintaining high standards of organisation and merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance through effective team management
- Oversee merchandising activities to optimise product presentation and maximise sales potential
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the store environment
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with stock control, inventory management, and replenishment to ensure product availability
- Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to increase revenue
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures
Experience
- Proven supervisory or management experience within a retail setting is essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Demonstrable experience in sales management, merchandising, and administrative duties
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance customer engagement and team communication
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear organisational communication
- Experience in time management and maintaining high standards of customer service is preferred
- Previous experience in retail management or related fields will be considered an advantage
Pay: £10.50-£14.00 per hour
