Hi there we are seeking a cleaner for our warehouse and office and canteen toilets and stairs areas. If you have experience in the following areas please do apply. We would be grateful to have somebody join our team with the relevant experience.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, aisles, storage areas, and loading docks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces regularly to prevent dust accumulation and maintain hygiene standards
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials responsibly, adhering to recycling protocols when applicable
- Clean windows, doors, and other fixtures to uphold a professional appearance throughout the facility
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards discovered during cleaning activities to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures to ensure consistent quality and compliance
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles within warehouse or industrial settings
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and responsibly
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or hazards clearly
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment use
