Agricultural Service Technician / Mechanic
About us:
Attlefield Farm Machinery Ltd Specialises in Spearhead & Votex Machinery, Flexwing/batwing mowers, flail mowers and hedge cutters, alongside the sales of CFMOTO quad bikes and utility vehicles.
Due to the continued growth of the business and continued customer expansion, we are looking for a self-motivated Agricultural Mechanic who thrives on independence and is eager to expand his/her technical skills.
About the role:
- Service and repair agricultural machinery.
- Fault finding and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues in agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and inspection.
- Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment.
- Maintain a clean workstation and assist with overall workshop organisation and correct use of tools and vehicles.
- Keeping records of inspections, work performed, and parts used
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Performs any other tasks when required.
Essential:
- A high level of mechanical competence
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to enable the repair of agricultural equipment.
- Experience of maintaining and repairing equipment
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently from own initiative.
- Good timekeeping
- Communication - ability to explain mechanical problems in simple terms.
- Full UK Driving license
