Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Asphalt Mixing technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and assembly of materials for production processes. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work efficiently in a fluctuating environment. The Batcher will be responsible for ensuring that all components are accurately measured and mixed according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Measure, mix, and batch materials accurately, adhering to established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Document batch records and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in an asphalt batching environment is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Experience in assembly processes is advantageous but not essential.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks performed.
