Roastery & Coffee Training CoordinatorAbout the Role
Love great coffee and sharing your knowledge with others? We're looking for someone to become a key part of our Roastery team, helping to keep coffee flowing, customers happy, and training sessions fun, engaging, and inspiring.
This is a varied role that combines coffee training, roastery production, deliveries, wholesale support, and the occasional café shift. No two days are quite the same!
What You'll Be Doing
Training & Coffee Education
- Deliver and support coffee training sessions for wholesale customers, retail guests, and Hot Numbers team members.
- Lead workshops covering everything from bean-to-cup coffee and espresso basics to milk steaming, brewing methods, and cuppings.
- Help develop confident baristas and coffee enthusiasts.
Production & Order Fulfilment
- Prepare and package coffee, tea, and other products accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure orders for cafés, wholesale partners, and online customers are completed on time and to our standards.
- Help manage stock levels and maintain production schedules.
- Complete quality, compliance, and cleaning checks.
Deliveries
- Deliver products to our cafés and wholesale customers using the company van.
- Build great relationships with customers and represent the Hot Numbers brand.
Wholesale Support
- Be a friendly first point of contact for customer questions and support.
- Help wholesale partners get the very best from their coffee programme.
- Check in with customers and help solve problems when they arise.
Plus...
- Support café operations when needed.
- Assist with purchasing and stock management.
- Help with coffee quality control and tasting sessions.
- Support Hot Numbers events.
- Keep the Roastery clean, organised, and running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for speciality coffee.
- Strong barista skills and coffee knowledge.
- Experience training, coaching, or developing others.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Someone proactive, organised, and happy to get stuck in.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Aged 25+ for company vehicle insurance purposes.
Bonus points if you've worked with wholesale customers or in a speciality coffee environment before.

Pay: From £13.56 per hour
