Redco are a Precision Engineering and Materials Stockholding company supplying machined parts and plastic materials to a range of industries in the UK and abroad.
We are a looking for a warehouse/stores person to join our team to assist in managing stock, cutting materials and packing and arranging deliveries to customers. This position is available immediately to the successful candidate.
The main duties will be:
- Unpacking, QA checking and booking in stock.
- Picking and packing stock ready for despatch.
- Managing stock movements and ensuring stock levels are correct on the computer system.
- Issuing stock to Machined Parts department.
- Moving and storing pallets.
- Keeping the warehouse space clean and tidy and helping with any other jobs required including assistance with Health and Safety requirements.
- Using a wall saw to cut sheets of material.
- Making deliveries around Norfolk in our vehicle when needed.
Warehousing experience is essential, a counterbalance forklift licence and a clean drivers licence are essential. Wall sawing experience would be very desirable in this role although training will be provided.
Working hours will be 08:00-16:30 with two 15-minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch.
