Paragon Resource Solutions are recruiting exclusively on behalf of a highly regarded, privately owned housebuilder for an experienced Site Manager to join an exciting new residential development.
Our client has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality homes, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, customer satisfaction and attention to detail.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a key role on a prestigious development of approximately 180 high-quality new homes, with the opportunity to help shape and build the site team around you.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful day-to-day delivery of the development, ensuring homes are completed on programme, safely and to exceptional quality standards.
You will lead and motivate the site team, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain the high standards expected throughout every stage of the build.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the development
- Delivering homes on time, within programme and to an exceptional standard
- Managing and motivating site staff and subcontractors
- Maintaining excellent standards of Health & Safety
- Ensuring works comply with Building Regulations and NHBC standards
- Coordinating trades, suppliers and subcontractors effectively
- Maintaining high levels of quality control throughout the build
- Liaising confidently with homeowners, neighbours, NHBC Inspectors and other statutory bodies
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive homeowner experience
- Working closely with the Contracts Manager to identify and resolve any issues affecting programme or quality
- Taking genuine pride and ownership in the development
About You
We are looking for an experienced residential Site Manager who takes pride in delivering an excellent product and knows how to get the best from their team.
Ideally, you will have:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within the housebuilding industry in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of traditional residential construction methods and current construction techniques
- Excellent knowledge of NHBC standards
- Good understanding of current Building Regulations
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills
- The confidence to manage multiple subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders
- A strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering quality homes
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid qualification
