Salary - £40,405.61
Location - Teesside TS6 7RP.
Pattern of Work – 42 hours, Monday - Friday
What you need to know about the role
We’re looking for a Craft Team Member – Instruments to join our Teesside plant! This position will provide support to the Team Leader within both the instrument workshop and manufacturing areas on the Teesside site in achieving plant operational/workshop targets, reliability and health and safety objectives.
You will be part of an instrument maintenance team ensuring the most effective engineering service is provided to the production team.
The role will also see you record details of work activities, delays etc. whilst using the appropriate maintenance systems. Ensuring that the requirements for spares/materials and tools to complete the work are specified is a key part of the role.
What we need to know about you
To be considered for this position you must be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant control/instrumentation trade or have served a recognised apprenticeship (certification evidence will be required of all relevant qualifications).
Ideally you will have the appropriate experience in the relevant engineering field and have effective team working skills. You will be flexible and have an adaptable approach. Knowledge of the integrated iron, steelmaking and mills process would be beneficial.
