Bus Fleet Cleaning Team Leader
Based at our Kettering Depot Pay rate: £15.37 per hour, working late shifts, any 5 days from 7

At Stagecoach, presentation plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for our customers and colleagues. We're looking for a proactive and dependable Bus Fleet Cleaning Team Leader to join our team in Kettering, helping to ensure our vehicles and depot facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Deputy Engineering Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the presentation team, leading by example while helping to keep our buses, coaches, depot facilities, and workspaces clean, safe, and ready for service.
What you'll be doing:
· Supporting depot management with the allocation of daily duties across the presentation team, ensuring resources are used effectively
· Helping to achieve daily, weekly, and annual vehicle cleaning targets and presentation standards
· Leading by example by carrying out interior, exterior, engine bay, and under-chassis cleaning of company vehicles
· Working with your team to ensure all vehicles are fuelled and oils are checked daily.
· Ensuring offices, workshops, welfare facilities, and other depot areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
· Completing and maintaining accurate records, including cleaning sheets, fuel records, and vehicle information
· Carrying out regular checks on cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure teams can work safely and efficiently
· Promoting and maintaining safe working practices in line with Stagecoach policies and procedures
· Supporting a positive team culture focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
What we're looking for:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Previous experience within a cleaning, presentation, facilities, or operational environment
· A team player who can motivate and support colleagues while maintaining high standards
· A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
· Good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices
· A commitment to delivering excellent presentation standards across vehicles and facilities
· A full UK driving licence is essential
