Support Worker / Care Assistant – Hackney
Bright London Care Limited is recruiting compassionate, reliable and committed Support Workers and Care Assistants to join our growing supported-living team across Hackney.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support people to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes and supported-living environments.
No previous care experience is required. Full training will be provided to successful applicants.
Pay and hours
- £14.80 per hour
- Full-time and part-time positions available

Work locations
Vacancies may be available across Hackney, including:
- E2: Haggerston, Cambridge Heath and the Shoreditch fringe
- E5: Upper Clapton, Lower Clapton and Lea Bridge
- E8: Hackney Central, Dalston, London Fields and Haggerston
- E9: Homerton, Hackney Wick, Victoria Park and Hackney Marshes
- E10: Lea Bridge and the Hackney Marshes boundary
- N1: De Beauvoir and Hoxton
- N4: Manor House and Woodberry Down
- N16: Stoke Newington and Stamford Hill
We particularly welcome applicants living in or near E5, E8, E9 and N16.
Applicants from nearby areas with reliable transport links are also encouraged to apply, including:

Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
- Supporting individuals with their daily routines
- Encouraging independence, choice and community participation
- Providing respectful personal care when required
- Supporting individuals to attend appointments and activities
- Following individual care and support plans
- Supporting with medication in line with training and agreed procedures
- Maintaining accurate care and support records
- Reporting concerns or changes to senior members of staff
- Working professionally with colleagues, families and other professionals
- Promoting the safety, dignity and wellbeing of the people you support

- Willing to work flexible shifts where required
Previous care or support-work experience is helpful but is not essential. Full training will be provided if you have no previous experience.
