An exciting opportunity to join our team at Royal Mid Surrey. The successful candidate will help us deliver a first class experience for our members and their guests. We have a fleet of new machinery , paid over time, lunches on duty and many social events as well as a packed 5 year improvement plan.
Duties
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to optimise water usage across various sites
- Perform general maintenance tasks on all aspects of greenkeeping
- Use hand tools for minor construction work
- Assist with construction projects related to irrigation, robotics, paths and much more
- Carry out routine inspections of equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order
- Support team members in data collection and interperation
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge of operating machinery
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Strong understanding of high level golf course standards
- Ability to undertake physical tasks including lifting, digging, and manoeuvring equipment safely
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in golf course maintenance or working towards them are essential

Pay: From £31,000.00 per year
