Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and engaging Maximo Learning Consultant to design, develop, and deliver training solutions that support the successful adoption and use of IBM Maximo across our client organisations. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, system administrators, project teams, and end users to identify learning needs, create training materials, and facilitate training programmes that enhance user competence and maximise return on investment in Maximo.
This role combines expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management with instructional design, adult learning principles, and change management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Planning
- Conduct training needs analyses for Maximo implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Develop learning strategies and training plans aligned with project objectives and business requirements.
- Collaborate with business leads, SMEs, and project teams to identify role-based learning requirements.
- Support organisational change initiatives by embedding learning into transformation programmes.
- Regular communications , reporting and feedback to client and manager as required, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved
- Identifying and assisting with the development of/improvement of internal processes to support Electra’s current and future business
Learning Design & Development
Design and develop high-quality training materials, including:
- User guides
- Quick reference guides
- Process maps
- E-learning scripts
- Instructor-led training materials
- Knowledge base articles
- Ensure learning materials remain aligned with system updates and business processes.
Training Delivery
- Facilitate virtual and on-site Maximo training sessions.
- Deliver train-the-trainer programmes to develop internal capability.
- Provide hands-on workshops and practical system demonstrations.
- Coach users and managers on best practices for Maximo adoption and utilisation.
- Deliver post-go-live support sessions and refresher training.
Required skills and experience
- Proven experience delivering training for IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions.
- Strong understanding of Maximo business processes
- Experience designing and facilitating adult learning programmes.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly learning materials.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
