Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of furniture components, ensuring precision and quality standards are met
- Use hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Support senior craftsmen in performing carpentry tasks, including measuring, marking, and fitting parts
- Participate in construction painting, finishing, and surface treatment processes to enhance furniture appearance
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving raw materials or finished products within the workshop
- Follow safety protocols diligently when operating machinery such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety standards
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic about learning woodworking, carpentry, joinery, and furniture manufacturing techniques
- Basic understanding of fabrication, assembly, and use of hand tools or power tools is a plus but not required—training will be provided
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience or knowledge in roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Motivated team player with a positive attitude eager to develop new skills in a craft-focused environment
