M S Home and Gift Ltd is looking for 2–3 enthusiastic, reliable people to join our growing events team.
We sell homeware, garden décor and gifts at garden shows, flower shows, shopping events and festive events across the UK, including larger events such as Gardeners’ World, RHS shows and Chatsworth Christmas Market.
This is a zero-hours contract and a varied, hands-on role on our event stands. You will need to be available for events as they arise and keep us updated with your availability.
Main responsibilities
- Operating a mobile counter for wrapping goods and taking payments
- Handling cash and card payments
- Using mental maths for sales and change
- Replenishing stock and keeping displays looking their best
- Helping set up and pack away at events

- Confident and able to think for yourself
- Creative with an eye for presentation
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Agile, dynamic and adaptable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable handling money and using card machines
- Happy to work in a role that can be physically demanding at times
- Must be able to drive
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude

Events are usually long weekends of 3–4 days.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
