This will involve liaison with customers and third-party test houses as well as writing approval declarations, backed up with robust technical files.
They must have knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 with excellent problem solving and analytical skills. As our ISO 9001 management representative they will liaise with external assessors to maintain our accreditation, addressing any non-conformities and recommendations, and continually improving the system.
Taking the lead in root cause analysis, they will propose improvements and monitor effectiveness to prevent reoccurrence. Building on our traceability system, the successful applicant will ensure relevant data is captured during production, and ensure meaningful analysis is regularly undertaken to feedback failures to aid improvement.
They will be confident meeting with new or existing suppliers to ensure quality and reliability are maintained, and constantly looking for improvements and development.
A thorough understanding of electrical systems is essential and experience of water heating products would be an advantage.
It is anticipated the role will also encompass health and safety compliance, maintaining and improving our existing systems.
The role would suit an individual within a similar role or function, looking to progress to take overall responsibility for quality, and keen to encompass health and safety, either immediately, or in the future.
