Job Summary
We are searching for a cleaner for our client to play a vital role in maintaining a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment. In this position, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning tasks across commercial spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to the overall cleanliness and professionalism of our facilities, creating a positive experience for staff and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties in commercial settings, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Change bedding and maintain linens
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Clear trash and recycling bins regularly, disposing of waste in designated areas following safety guidelines.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for all occupants.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all areas.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure no area is overlooked.
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
Hours
hours are dependent on bookings
Monday to Sunday 10:30am-2pm
