Accounts & Administration Assistant (Part-Time)
We are a well-established leading supplier of concrete, asphalt and aggregate, related products and services in Devon and Cornwall, seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our friendly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and is looking for a flexible part-time role within a modern, supportive office environment.
The Role
Working as part of our busy office team, you will be involved in a variety of accounting and administrative duties that help keep our business running smoothly.
Responsibilities may include:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Maintaining customer and supplier accounts
- Credit control and payment monitoring
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Preparing and updating spreadsheets and reports
- General office administration and record keeping
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues in a professional manner
- Using our Modern Construction Fully Integrated Accounting System to manage financial and project-related information
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration experience
- Be confident using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Have good numerical and organisational skills
- Be accurate and have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

The salary listed is based on a full time role, however as stated above, we are looking for someone to work 3/4 days a week, which can be flexible.
