At Vertu Vauxhall Carlisle, we are looking for a General Sales Manager to join our team. This role offers a £50,000 basic salary with an OTE of £70,000, plus a company car and excellent company benefits.

As General Sales Manager, you will lead the sales operation and drive performance through a talented team of Business Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues. Through regular coaching, clear direction and effective management, you will help deliver outstanding results across both new and used vehicle sales.
You will manage a structured sales process, supporting your team to maximise opportunities across vehicle sales, finance and related products while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. You will also oversee sales campaigns and promotions, ensuring they deliver strong commercial results while upholding the highest ethical standards.
We are looking for an experienced and successful automotive Sales Manager who can bring energy, ambition and a strong track record of sales performance and profitability to the role. You will have the confidence and capability to drive results, improve operational efficiency and support the continued development of a high-performing team. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a genuine passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
